Say Again?

It’s the line of the week (talking about ending the DC Gun Ban):

Council member Mary Cheh, Ward 3 Democrat, called the proposal to allow guns for self-protection a “dangerous, nutty experiment” that would only increase violence.

Yes, because DC is so much safer than the rest of the country.

Hmmm, isn’t “experiment” sort of like testing something that hasn’t been done before?

As for the increase in violence, would that be law abiding citizens shooting back?

Always the same phrases from the hoplophobes & never a shred of evidence to back it up.

And of course, the WAPO made absolutely no reference to the number of crimes in DC in comparison to the rest of the nation.

While I can’t really believe that the left is so stupid to avoid the truth, I must come to the conclusion that they are just so evil.

    Ah …. good.

I was afraid they were going to kill a possible SCOTUS decision by easing the law slightly … using NY or NJ permit systems.

Apparently moonbats on the council won’t let them.

I suppose Councilwomen Cheh has a security staff at her disposal? Criminals consider DC a target rich environment.
