According to this study, students at many Ivy League universities graduate with “negative learning” when it comes to American history and civics.
In non-academic speak… they’re dumber coming out than they are going in. You’d think for $46,000 a year (the cost of attending Johns Hopkins University) they’d teach the students the basics.
I got the best education from a City University. The worst from a private university that charged a whole lot of money, yet always lacked the proper equipment with which to teach. Needless to say, I left that private university. So…for $2500 a semester at a City University, I got an education that was more satisfying than part of one I almost got from a private university charging $9,000 a semester. So really, which one would you consider to be the “Mickey Mouse” college?

As compared to let’s say the college basketball leagues who have a 9% graduation rate. What does that tell you?
