In today’s New York Post, Air America host Randi Rhodes pulls out the typical liberal excuse.
“It was a bit. It was bad. I apologize a thousand times,” Rhodes told listeners yesterday on WLIB (1190 AM), adding: “I’m not in charge of the bits.”
Bullfeathers. The name of the show is “The Randi Rhodes Show”. You’re in charge of the bits, ma’am… even if you don’t actually produce them. If your name is on the show, you know exactly what’s running on your show. If you don’t… then you’re a freaking idiot.
I’m still reeling from the hyprocracy. The left, for the most part, is anit-gun yet they will use “gun-isms”. Maybe they are actually espousing their true feelings(They are into feelings, aren’t they?) and that is why they want to ban guns………Because they can’t trust THEMSELVES!

I tend to agree with your theory Bruce. Just like when a Democrat politicians’ (I can’t remember which office he holds) wife said if she had a gun she would shoot Britney Spears…they can’t trust themselves so they think everyone reacts the same way around firearms.
But libs are never responsible for things for which they happen to get caught - from the common criminal (most of whom lean left (which is no small coincidence) to the libs in government. Such merely pick something else to blame but never can quite explain how the person or persons they blame could be responsible either if there is no such thing as personal responsibility. Gotta hand it to them though, they do get the prize for taking personal dysfunction to the major leagues.
I don’t think this is a “liberal” excuse - it’s a stupid person’s excuse. You’re right - her show, her responsibility.

She also showed to the public a lack of backbone in not accepting the consequences.

This kind of double standard incenses me. I guarantee, if a conservative talking head made that kind of reference to Clinton, the MSM would have been all over it, forcing the talking head to resign. Does anyone remember the comment Bob Dole made? This hyprocracy is what is driving folks away from the MSM and to blogs, talk radio and the FOX News channel.
Is anybody else concerned about the left today? This threat on public airways, the various other threats on products, the unadulterated and irrational hatered… How far are they going to go? I fear they’re going to try to go all the way.

You may have a point. Instead of trying to regulate only the right-leaning talk radio, maybe the left is trying to go overboard hoping that the feds will do something about the whole talk radio thing. Kinda like coming in from the back door.
