Getting ready for the not-so-big move into the new house this weekend. Why is it not so big?
Because there’s almost nothing to move. The family (and furniture) won’t be here for another month. Obviously I can’t sleep on the floor for a month, so I did buy a bed, which will be delivered tomorrow. I have clothes to move over, as well as some groceries, and that’s basically it.
I can’t, however, live in a house with only a bed, so I have to head to Wal-Mart this weekend to buy a trashcan and laundry baskets. I have to head to Ikea to buy a small table and a couple of chairs. And I have to head to Best Buy to pick up a 52 inch plasma screen TV.
Okay, that last one was just to freak out my wife.
My father and stepmother are also down from New Jersey this weekend, so it’s going to be awfully busy around here. Still no internet access at home, so this will most likely be the last update until Monday.
