Recusing Himself

John Ashcroft is recusing himself from the Valerie Plame/CIA probe. The same probe many on the left said wasn’t going anywhere. The same probe many on the left said he shouldn’t have been involved with.

I never had a problem with the idea of a special prosecutor, but I was never up in arms over Ashcroft leading the investigation either. I always believed that if the need arose, Ashcroft would step down, and lo and behold… he did.
